My Story.

My first piece of art came out of Mrs. Sawyer's oil painting class at age 10. That cute little Easter Bunny started my life long affair with color in a variety of media.

While studying illustration at California State University at Long Beach, techniques in pencil drawing, oil painting, watercolor, acrylic, Prismacolor and the classic use of egg tempra added to my skill set.

After graduation, my husband (CSULB graduate in Metalsmithing) and I opened Rainbows Fine Jewelry, in Belmont Shore. Where for 36 years we combined our studios  creating "one of a kind" fine jewelry. During that time I designed and created in the fine art of "Cloisonne Enamel".

Retiring our studios, we continue to practice art.  My Precious Doll Studio is the culmination of over fifty years as designer and artist.  Each doll face is hand sculpted, painted, detailed with hair, then mounted on a plexiglass rod set on a unique presentation stand, expressing my loving care and attention to detail. Visit my gallery to secure your selection. I continue to add new faces monthly.

My sincere desire is that your selection brings you the same joy and delight I experience every time I present a Precious Doll to the world.

  Wishing you all good things.
